Groupware

How it Works

NextPage® 2 Document Collaboration groupware works like you do! NextPage 2 takes advantage of the speed and omnipresence of e-mail—allowing you to work the way you always have—only this time with increased speed and convenience.

NextPage 2 Document Collaboration -- a digital thread through your documents

With NextPage 2 Document Collaboration and its Digital Thread™ technology, you will always know who has made changes to your document, when the changes were made, what the changes are, where the new versions of your document are stored, and how the various versions fit together. Using groupware has never been so easy. Imagine for instance that you are working on an important company document. You create the document and then send it to several co-workers for review. Your co-workers read the document and make the necessary changes. They return their versions of the document to you, and with NextPage 2, you simply merge your co-workers’ versions into one ‘final version.’

NextPage 2 Document Collaboration Features

NextPage 2 Document Collaboration features are easy to utilize. In fact, once NextPage 2 Document Collaboration is installed, a new ‘NextPage’ pull-down menu will appear in every one of your Microsoft Office applications.

NextPage® 2 Document Collaboration Works like Businesses Do

NextPage 2 Document Collaboration groupware is truly in a class of its own. Unlike other centralized groupware systems such as Groove Networks, Documentum, and FileNet, NextPage 2 Document Collaboration groupware requires no IT overhead and only a few short minutes to install. With NextPage 2 Document Collaboration, any of your associates can edit, review, and proofread your documentseven if they are not NextPage subscribers. NextPage 2 Document Collaboration also provides the best, most accurate document versioning and tracking, which is displayed in the NextPage 2 Document Collaboration graphical Version Map™.

A healthy business requires collaboration, and not just in meeting rooms. Company documents (i.e.summaries, budgets and presentations) require mutual creativity, planning and review. Team collaboration, and documents in general, are valuable to every business, but when deadlines come out of nowhere, and documents have to be written quickly—businesses need groupware that is economical, flexible, and fast.
