At NextPage®, we are reinventing document management, creating an unprecedented level of integration with a user’s desktop experience and eliminating the behavior changes that traditional centralized systems require. As an interaction designer, you will work closely with engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the product cycle. Responsibilities will include:

Defining the user interaction model and interface for new and existing NextPage products by utilizing user-centered design techniques
Developing user stories, mockups, specifications and rapid prototypes to communicate and test proposed interaction
Working closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Sales and other user-facing groups to define all aspects of the product
Conducting user interviews and test sessions for new and existing features

Necessary Education & Experience

Background in human-computer interaction or related field (BS or MS in Human-Computer Interaction or related field a plus)
Demonstrated experience in designing usable end-user applications
Excellent knowledge of a rapid prototyping tool
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
